Information Collection and Use

OpticHUD is designed to function without collecting or storing personal information on external servers.

Location Information

OpticHUD uses your device's location through Apple's CoreLocation framework to enable map navigation, weather information, and HUD interface features.

Location data is used only while the app is running and is processed locally on your device. The app does not store location history and does not transmit location data to any servers controlled by the developer.

Location data may be sent to Apple services when using features powered by Apple frameworks such as MapKit and WeatherKit in order to provide map results, routing, and weather information.

Apple Services

OpticHUD uses Apple-provided frameworks to power certain features:

• MapKit for map display, search, and directions
• WeatherKit for weather data
• Apple Music playback through the system media player

These services may communicate with Apple's servers in order to provide functionality. Data handling for these services is governed by Apple's privacy policies.

Local Device Storage

Some app preferences and media files are stored locally on your device to support application functionality. This may include:

• Selected reminder list identifiers
• User media files added by the user
• App interface preferences and settings

This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to the developer.

Reminders Access

If permission is granted, OpticHUD may access reminders using Apple's EventKit framework to display reminder information within the app. Reminder data is not copied or transmitted outside of the device.

Notifications

OpticHUD may request permission to display local notifications. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent from external servers.

Third-Party Data Sharing

The developer of OpticHUD does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information.
